APDF/Janice Tuohy-Aguilera Scholarship
IMG_2824.jpg

Janice Tuohy-Aguilera was a mother, mentor, educator and friend whose love of dance inspired countless young artists to reach and exceed their potential. APDF co-founder Michael Trusnovec was one of those dancers touched by her passion and dedication.  Janice sadly passed away in 2016.  This special initiative to support a Monmouth County dance student's studies celebrates her passion and commitment to dance education.

With generous support from Dawn Tarpinian, a dear friend of Janice and local Asbury Park resident, and the Bevier-Evans Foundation, APDF is proud to provide funds to one Monmouth County dancer to cover their expense of attending a 2-week Summer Dance Program (tuition + travel stipend valued at up to $1200).
