EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES

Part of the mission of APDF, is to provide FREE opportunities for young New Jersey dancers to learn from, and be inspired by, accomplished artists and educators.

Generous support has been provided by John and Jody Arnhold, Monmouth Arts and Axelrod Contemporary Ballet Theater to make these initiatives possible

2025

In collaboration with Nimbus Dance and the The School of Nimbus in Jersey City, APDF hosted 4 FREE WORKSHOPS with renowned artists and teachers, Tamisha A. Guy, Bradley Beakes and Michael Trusnovec. These workshops were made possible with support from John and Jody Arnhold and Monmouth Arts

 APDF'21 alum, choreographer and B-girl, Ephrat Asherie, and APDF Co-Founder and former Paul Taylor Dance Company star, Laura Halzack led hip-hop and a modern contemporary fusion classes on June 4, 2022. 

Additionally, ADPF with support from the Bevier-Evans Foundation in memory of dance educator Janice Aguilera, awarded two NJ dancers, Brooklyn Miller and Isabella Luttrell, one-week paid tuition to the 2022 AXCBT Summer Intensive.
